Since we launched the comments moderation system yesterday, hundreds of comments have already been marked as spam. Thank you for the positive feedback and for taking the time to clean up your comments.
We’ve also added the requested feed for all comments. Now, when you’re logged in and go to the “Comments” tab on the “My Content” section, you’ll see a RSS link near the header of the comments table. This link leads to a feed for all comments on your content items. You can subscribe to this feed with your preferred RSS reader, and start monitoring your comments in real time.

Today we launched a long awaited feature to our Content Creators system. You can now moderate comments on your articles.
On the “My Content” section, you’ll notice a new “Comments” tab. Pressing this tab will lead you to a screen with all comments on your content items, where you can see some details on the various comments, and most importantly – you can mark them down as spam. Comments marked as spam will not be shown on the content item’s page when it is viewed. On the right-most column of the table, there’s a link called “Toggle spam/not spam”, pressing it will do exactly that – toggle a comment status back and forth between spam and not-spam.
So now when you have full control of your comments, you also have a very powerful moderation tool in your hands. We hope that you use it wisely and ethically. Gun down only those comments that are truely spam (off-topic, marketing, foul language etc.), and not comments that just condradict with your own opinion…
Go ahead, moderate!

As you all know, when we decline a content item you submit, we send you an email describing why we are declining the item. As of today, you can also see decline reasons in the “Declined Content” tab on the “My Content” section.
Understanding why your content item was declined for publication is a key step for improving the next content items you submit.

As you’ve noticed we’ve been up again as promised, since 02:30 am.
You will also notice changes in the “Publish” screen. Choosing a category to fit your article will now be easier and more precise. For example, if you choose to upload a picture file, you immediately recieve categories that apply to pictures, and if you choose to upload an audio file you recieve categories that apply to audio, etc…
We hope you notice the better server performance, and now that we’ve got this upgrade behind us we can continue and improve the service in other fields.
Oh, and one last thing, you can now see an RSS subscribe button just above the news section in the Triond homepage. You can subscribe to this feed and recieve constant news updates to your favorite RSS reader.

On Monday, February 12, 01:30 am PST, we are going down for server maintenance. This operation requires downtime of approximately 1 hour, so unless we encounter any unexpected surprises, you can expect us to be up again at around 02:30 am.
During this time all services will be unavailable, and we are sorry for the inconvenience. However, the goal is of course to improve our service, and once we’re up again, you will notice improvements in response times and availability.
Consider this as a 1-hour paid vacation
