Moderate Your Comments

Today we launched a long awaited feature to our Content Creators system. You can now moderate comments on your articles.

On the “My Content” section, you’ll notice a new “Comments” tab. Pressing this tab will lead you to a screen with all comments on your content items, where you can see some details on the various comments, and most importantly – you can mark them down as spam. Comments marked as spam will not be shown on the content item’s page when it is viewed. On the right-most column of the table, there’s a link called “Toggle spam/not spam”, pressing it will do exactly that – toggle a comment status back and forth between spam and not-spam.

So now when you have full control of your comments, you also have a very powerful moderation tool in your hands. We hope that you use it wisely and ethically. Gun down only those comments that are truely spam (off-topic, marketing, foul language etc.), and not comments that just condradict with your own opinion…

Go ahead, moderate! :)

You really solve the problem I was so looking forward to.
you guys really are the best!

  2. Meri Jeffrey says:

Sounds good to me! Is there a way authors should know of new or the number of comments w/o having to open each article? Maybe I missed something.

  3. Meri,

Currently each content item you publish has a RSS feed of its comments. You can subscribe to the RSS feeds of your content items using your preferred RSS readers, and thus be notified of new comments added.

We are aware that many of our content creators have numerous content items published, which makes it a bit difficult to keep track with all those different feeds, and therefore we will also soon provide a single feed of all comments, rather than separated per content item.

If the concept of RSS feeds is new to you, here is a link that explains:

The toggle spam/not spam button doesn’t work for me. Am I doing something wrong?

  6. Feeker2 says:

Thank you Triond! Been looking forward for this.

  7. Meri Jeffrey says:

Thanks Sol, i do remember the RSS explanation of a while back and being new to such, didn’t pursue it! and it seems ambiguous to click on again to see updates since i get so few and far between. i’ll revisit RSS later. Thanks again!

I haven received my payment, it shows at due payment . when am I going to receive my first payment? my current balance is 3.05.

  9. Jake85,

The reason you did not receive any payment yet is because you did not break the required minimum payment amount by January 31st.

Your January earnings were therefore rolled over to February payment, and you will receive the lot by the end of March.

  10. Jake85 says:

I have several articles waiting to be published. you guys added it to the waiting list, but nothing happens. those articles have being there for a while, are they corrupted files or something similar. can you please explain me?

  11. Jake85,

Items that are pending on your waiting are queued for moderation. They will all be published eventually. I see this has been published in the meantime :-)

  12. Jake85 says:

    thanks!
