Bookstove Launched

It’s true that we spend most of our day staring at radiating monitors, seeing images and text fly by at high speeds (broadband is great, isn’t it?). But then at the end of the day, we have to relax. I find myself enjoying the old fashioned way of entertainment – reading books. Classics and drama, sci-fi and horror, all are just great. Yesterday for example I took the dust off of “East of Eden”. Ah! What a great feeling it was! I could literally see the vast Salinas!
And now, unsurprisingly, I’m in front of a monitor again
. And we give you Bookstove, a place to share these kind of experiences.

Sounds good to me, reading REAL book is much more relaxing that watching a screen.
Sounds like a great idea to me. Real books will never replace the computer monitor. Reading is a way to relax and seems so personal. There hasn’t been a day go by in over 20 years where I didn’t have at least one book on the go. I was at the Library today replenishing myself with new material.
This is a good idea, hat goes off to ya mate, i always just try to find time to relax with a book, and you do, surprisingly, get immersed in them, and a whole new world is opened up to you…
Triond must have some net worth to be publishing so many sites on the web. I feel that this community is growing rapidly, by the day! It was a great idea to launch a site like bookstove, which makes the list of sites to be 22. And oh…the design looks great; good job.
That is a really good site. Thanks for telling us about this. I found myself with a new excuse not to write today.
