Some New Triond Features

Today we added some requested features to the Triond interface (Anne noticed the change before we even had the chance to announce…).

You can now delete published content items from the “Published Content” tab, and waiting content items from the “Waiting Content” tab. All you have to do is click the delete icon. Please note, that this action is irreversible, so be cautious when using it. Actually, there usually is no reason to delete a content item, because after it is deleted it obviously cannot generate revenue… And if it is needed to be fixed you can submit a fix. Use this feature only for the rare occasions where you really need to take the item down.

Another new feature is the ability to change your pen name and email address.  You can do this from the “My Account” section. Please note that once you change your email, you will receive an activation link to the newly entered email, and the change itself will occur only after you press this link.

We hope you use these new features wisely.

These changes are great. Especially being able to change your pen name. I made a boo boo on mine when I signed up and had no way to change it. I switched Internet providers five months ago and had to keep the email account from my old provider because I couldn’t change it. This is great. Thanks for listening.

  2. B. Adlaon says:

Wonderful, wonderful new features. Great job, Triond! And thanks!

  3. I really like the idea of being able to change my pen-name, as i chose my former, Robert Benson Parsley out of haste. Now I can write under my first and middle initial with my real last name tacked on. I like R.B. Parsley much better. Great Idea to add this feature. Now how about adding a feature that will allow us to write under different pen-names for different types of writing, so our readers don’t get confused as to the types of writing we do?

  4. Great to be able to change my pen-name, thanks — using my real full name will mean I can now link up with other sites where I have my work and we can link back here. Better for the search engines too! Well done. Thank you for all you do, all your hard work. Best wishes always, Carolyn Ann

I am glad I will be able to change my pen-name. I want to change my current pen-name to one by which nobody can identify my race or religion.

  6. Ann says:

    Wonderful improvements. Thanks much!

  7. Anne says:

    Hi Triond,

I’m relatively new to the site, and have begun to visit more and more often.

I suspect that the answer to my question is somewhere on the site, in a corner I haven’t yet looked.

Is there a way to compare the links such as Gomestic, Socyberty etc., so see which one has more traffic, pays better etc?

  8. Anne,

Checking your My Content tab provides relevant information. It shows each of your content item performance and assuming you have several items published over several sites you may realize what performs better for you.

  9. I love the addition of pictures you added to my last article, “22 Wonderful Uses For Petroleum Jelly.” Thank you for the help.
