I just checked my in-box and do not see any mail from you. Please ensure you are sending your e-mails for the editorial team to editor@triond.com. All inquiries to the editor are best sent to this e-mail address, and I attempt to respond as quickly as possible.

The e-mails are something I choose to do in addition to my general editing tasks. Therefore, it may take a day or so to get a response. Please be patient, I will take care of it as thoroughly as possible when I can take the time to put full effort into the inquiry/request you send.

Duplicating content over several sites is not a good practice. It has a very negative effect on distribution and monetization efforts.

We highly recommend not to re-publish.

The only reason we do not forbid re-publishing on other sites after originally publishing with Triond is that we can not effectively enforce it.

Yes – we can decline an article we receive that has already been published before – we can check it on the fly – but we can’t guess that the author intends to re-publish it elsewhere. We may decide to take it down though.

I often see Internet writers – the ones with bylines, like us – post their articles on different sites. So I guess, if the other site doesn’t mind receiving content that has been posted somewhere else before, there’s nothing that will prevent us from posting the same article there. In the same way, the agreement we click on when we submit our articles only asks that we own the copyrights to our work, and doesn’t ask whether or not we submitted it somewhere else before.

(It would be a different case if we submitted the article to a site that bought us out of our copyright and ownership of the article.)

If Triond writers retain full rights to their content does this mean that we can publish our content on other websites?

Beatrice Adamas is right. I was here for 8 months and left my monthly payments in paypal for four months just to accumulate $20. Then – and I don’t know why either- am article took off and I made $177 in May and have been receiving over $100 a month since then. I was ready to give up until my May payment. Beatrice is right, give it time and it WILL happen.

I don’t know what you mean by “a while” but my personal experience is it took me one whole year to get $50. THEN I wrote one article that – heaven only knows why – captured people’s interest, and I made a hundred dollars in fifteen days.

Just keep writing, make sure you follow the rules of Internet writing, and try to think up topics that Internet readers find interesting.

I suggest you study the Triond newsletter very well to get some hints on which topics and formats sell.

If you keep at it long enough, you’ll get your break.
