Is it hot in here or is it just Triond? August is heating up, and Triond is paying up. Your monthly payments have been sent today, so please be on the look out for your designated payment method. PayPal folks, check your online balances. For our Check payees, look in your mailbox as they’ll be coming soon. And Western Unioners, keep an eye out for your email with the transaction number.
Speaking of feeling the heat… Last week we informed you of a small problem that made a huge impact on Triond users, staff, and computer systems alike. Our technical team performed an upgrade to the income stream reporting system to make it faster. However, as many of you know, an error in the system cause your earnings to go on an unexpected roller coaster ride. There was also a calculation error on “This Month’s Income”, and on top of all that, “This Month’s Income” was being continuously added to “Next Payment.” This is why many of you saw a decrease in both amounts when we fixed the problem. We want to emphasize that no money was lost and that it was merely a reporting error.
We have responded to many questions and blog comments from confused, frustrated, and angry users. Let me reiterate how sorry we are for the disturbance. With all new technology and upgrades, bugs are inevitable. Our ongoing process to improve Triond and to make the system faster and more reliable can have unwanted troubles. We try our best to resolve problems as soon as they happen, and we appreciate your patience.

Yesterday we told you about the newest upgrade to Triond, our Online Editor. We learned there were some problems with losing unsaved work, so we quickly made a few changes. Now you can save a draft of your unpublished content to work on at a later time. Just click the “Save as Draft” button next to “Submit” at the bottom of the page. In addition, when you use the Online Editor your work will be saved after 5 minutes automatically, and then every 5 minutes thereafter.
To see your unpublished articles, click on the “Drafts” tab under “Content.” Fix, delete, or leave them for later – it’s your work so take as much time as you need to complete it.
Thanks for all of the feedback on the Online Editor. Triond strives to give you what you need to succeed in online publishing.
Happy drafting!

You asked for it, you got it! With our new Online Editor, now you can write and edit your articles directly on Triond’s website. Our Online Editor’s layout is easy to use: instead of uploading a file, just type your work online and add pictures, video, and links with a few clicks. Hit “submit” when you are done, and the system automatically sends your work to the Triond Editorial Team. When your article has been published, you’ll be able to edit it without resubmitting a new file to fix – you can do it all with the Online Editor!
You can still submit articles by uploading a file under the “Submit Article” tab. If you like to live in the fast lane or want to end fussy file uploads, make the Online Editor your default submission method. Current Triond users are set to use the “Submit Article” method by default, but you can easily change your default method under the “Account” tab. Once you’re logged into your account, just scroll down to “Optional Details” and select your preference under “Default Submission Method.”
For a detailed FAQ on how to use the Online Editor, you can visit our new help center resource.
