The Search is Over; New ‘Find Me On’ Widget
It just got even easier for your friends to find you!
Today we added another new feature to your Triond profile page called the ‘Find Me On’ widget.
Many of you were asking for options to give links to your other social media accounts and blogs. We saw you were already posting your links on the About Me section and so we decided it was time to create a designated and organized area for this.
The ‘Find Me On’ widget allows you to link to your Twitter, Facebook, StumbleUpon, Digg and Blogger accounts in a user friendly manner.
To use it, just drag the ‘Find Me On’ widget to the area you want your links to appear, click on the wrench icon and enter your username for each website you use.
Make sure that the username you enter for Facebook is your vanity url name. For example, if your vanity url is www.facebook.com/josephsmith then enter ‘josephsmith’ in the widget.
Blogger usernames are found at the beginning of your blog’s url: [your name].blogspot.com. So if your blogger url is joe.blogspot.com, you’ll need to enter ‘joe’ as your blogger username.
For a demonstration on how to put the ‘Find Me On’ widget on your Triond profile page, watch this video:

This will come in handy! thanks!
Triond is very responsive to user needs. Kudos to all your proactive measures.
Thanks for this nifty improvement. This will surely come in handy. Thanks for constantly trying to improve the sites and services.
Didn’t this already come out? I can swear, I’ve been using this for about a month.
This is pretty great guys! Keep the updates coming. I love Triond.
I have a problem: what would affect our earnings? Is it that only the number of views affect our income? Thanks.
Wow… I never knew this wasnt there on triond… I have been using this tool since I joined triond about a month ago… I dont think this is a new update?
It works…thanks.

I have a question and don’t want to have to run gauntlet on ‘customer satisfaction ticket’ …
On the CONTENT view, -why is the PUBLISHED – SHARE feature given there? One cannot ‘SHARE’ articles effectively from this page because this page does not link to any specific article. It merely shows the list of ten articles.
There is currently a (greatly scaled-back) SHARE feature on every article anyway, so why is there one on the CONTENT – PUBLISHED page also. Does anyone actually even use this feature as placed here?
It would only help the author and in an unwieldy way because it forces a new page and s/he has to jump back-and-forth to populate information fields to make it work. It should be more automatic as it is on every specific article page (despite the truncated list of social-submit sites given there.)

@thestickman – The share there is exactly like the share on each article page. It just gives the writer the opportunity to do it from within the Triond interface.
I’m seeing something different then. And the differing host pages are using different ’share’ utilities, some which have a very limited repertoire of suggest-sites.
The one “SHARE this” on CONTENT – PUBLISHED really makes no sense being where it is as it cannot ‘grab’ the article’s URL natively. It is unwieldy to use and would not be missed it it disappeared. jmho
Ooh shoot i just typed a long comment and as soon as i submitted it it came up blank! Please tell me it worked properly? I do not want to write it again if i do not have to! Either the blog glitced out or i am an idiot, the latter doesnt surprise me lol.
Hi just thought i would let you know i also had a problem with this blog appearing blank as well. Might be chimpanzees in the page.
