Thanks to some great initial feedback from early Referrals Beta participants, we have enhanced the referrals feature. Users who participate in the program can now view their referrals list in a new Referrals tab under the Community section. This will help users who wish to support and promote their referrals and their content know who their referrals are.
Some clarifications about applying for the Referrals Beta program:
- The only way to apply is to send an email to referrals [at] triond [dot] com using the same email address with which you are signed up to Triond. Comments on this blog post, emails sent from email addresses that are not recognized by Triond, and emails to Triond Support Team will not be processed.
- We are currently rejecting all applications by users to whom we have never sent at least one payment. Therefore, if you still haven’t been paid by us, wait until you do, and apply only then.
Thanks to all the beta participants, and keep applying – we still have available spots!

Many of you have been asking about the possibility of launching a referral program for Triond for some time now. A referral program is a way to compensate users for referring and signing up new users. Though user referral programs are common with other services that provide revenue streams for users (as means to increase revenue by creating a secondary revenue channel) we were quite hesitant towards launching one of our own.
Nevertheless, we decided it is time to do give it a try. So we decided to launch it in a “Beta” mode – i.e. in small and controlled scale that will enable us to see how it performs in reality, to get a true feeling of the advantages and disadvantages of running it, and to be able to make much more educated decision about whether or not to ultimately launch it in full scale.
So – here we go. The terms of the referral program are very straightforward: You get 10% on top of your referrals revenue for lifetime. This means that your referrals don’t earn less than they should. They earn just the same as they should and we add an equivalent of 10% of their revenue to your earnings. You’ll be able to see the amount you generate by referrals and the number of referrals you have on the Triond dashboard.
That’s it. Want to join? simply email “Sign me up” to referrals [at] triond [dot] com using the email address that is registered with your Triond account (so we can identify you), and we will consider your application.
Spots for this beta are limited, so if you want to participate – Hurry up!

As part of our ongoing efforts to ensure the best possible service, we’re starting a servers maintenance cycle. This cycle may result in some downtime for Triond.com and the publishing services (i.e. publishing may be delayed for a while).
Our content sites are less likely to be effected but it is still a possibility.
We apologize on any downtime. We will update you when the maintenance cycle is finished.
Update: A significant portion of the maintenance is already behind us. We are aware of some occasional “blank” pages, and stats graphs that are not yet loading properly. Publishing is still on hold as well.
Update: Publishing is now working again.
Update: “Blank pages” are gone and stats graphs are showing. At this point everything seems to be functioning properly. Please let us know if you are still experiencing any problems.

We’re currently experiencing outage of some of our sites. Our tech guys are on it. Hopefully it will all be solved soon. Stay tuned for updates.
UPDATE: All sites are operating normally again.

Everything should be back to normal now. Content and Earning views are displaying data as usual.
Again – there was no data loss whatsoever. Your views, comments, likes and earnings were being logged during the time our engineers took care of the problems and all should be displaying correctly now.
The only thing that some of you may still notice is that today’s earning ‘disappeared’. Don’t worry, missing earnings data will be restored in the next few hours.
We apologize again for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and supporting comments on the previous post.

Due to a technical problem in one of our servers, the Content Summary, My content and all Payment views are currently displaying no data.
Please don’t panic… All of your published content is still out there, showing and generating views, comments, likes and earnings as usual, and they are all logged on your behalf. Also, all of your earnings data are still in tact. It just doesn’t show on your Triond dashboard.
Our engineering team is working on solving this problem. I apologize for the temporary inconvenience. Be rest assured that we are doing everything we can in order to restore data display to your Triond dashboards as soon as possible.

Everyday our Editorial Team receives thousands of content items. While we’d like to publish every submission, sometimes an item just isn’t quite ready for its gala debut. Maybe it needs another once-over for spelling and grammar, or maybe it needs a new title that really shouts “Read me!”. Maybe you forgot to correctly source your images, or perhaps you just got excited and submitted an incomplete article.
Well, making revisions is now easier than ever!
We’ve just released the latest upgrade to our editorial system that let’s you revise a declined item using our Online Editor interface. If we can’t publish your work as is, you’ll automatically receive an email with a link to your revisable item, and you can work on fixing it right away.
You can see items waiting for revision on your Dashboard, or in the Revisions section under Content. Along with your content item you’ll see notes from our Editorial Team that will help you fix any mistakes as well as provide you with additional suggestions for improving your work. Please note that if you have no articles waiting for revision, your Dashboard will not display any items for revision.
If you have any questions, feel free to send a note to support@triond.com
Happy revising!

Earlier this morning we caught wind of a slight error that caused your earnings to be reported incorrectly high, similar to the earnings reporting error from July. We have since fixed the reporting system, but you may have noticed the numbers on your dashboard and earnings tabs fluctuating a bit. If you saw a strangely high total under your earnings, we’ll bet that you were pretty happy to have your own “Black Friday” profit. However, we’re sorry to report that’s not actually the case.
Please know that NO earnings have been lost in this error, it was simply a miscommunication within our reporting system. We understand this is frustrating, but glitches like this can happen in the online world. We work our hardest to prevent errors from occurring, but sometimes they do.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Support Team at support@triond.com.
We hope you had a great Thanksgiving holiday and wish you a pleasant weekend.
N.B. – Black Friday is called “Black” Friday because companies who are in the “red” (meaning they are spending more than they are making) hope that the Holiday shopping rush will push their bottom line into the black (by making a nice profit). So, no, it’s not because the huge crowds make you black out…
Happy (turkey) publishing!

I am glad to say that the server maintenance issue is over now. The servers are back online and everything seems to be working properly now.
I would like to apologize for the outage last week and for the inconvenience it caused.
I would also like to thank all of you who posted those encouraging comments during that rough time. It meant a lot to us.
