It’s been a busy few weeks for our Online Editor, with upgrades being made on a regular basis. Today, we’ve just rolled out the latest new feature which lets you select the thumbnail image displayed alongside your article after it is published on a site in our network.
Previously, we paired thumbnail images according to your article’s tags as best as possible. Now you can decide which thumbnail to display.
You’ll now see a section of the Online Editor devoted to thumbnail selection. This thumbnail selection tool gives you relevant image options based on the content and tags of your article :
Click on “Find Images” to scan your article. In a few second, a row of thumbnail suggestions will appear below the button. To select an image, simply click on it. The selected image appears in the box to the far left.
To see more thumbnail options, click on “Find More Images” to scan your article again.
If you decide to save a draft of your article, your thumbnail selection will be saved as well. You can change it again before you submit your article for publication.
When you’re ready, submit your article. Once it’s been published, you’ll see your selected thumbnail appear next to the title and description of your article where it’s listed on the site of publication.
Following closely on the tail of our recent image and tag suggestion features, we are excited to announce today the release of a new link suggestion tool in the Online Editor.
You already know that embedding links extends your articles’ relevance online. Articles with links are viewed as being further developed and more resourceful than articles without links.
Now adding relevant links to your articles is easier than ever because we’ve found the links for you! After you have started to compose your article in the Online Editor, you can use the link suggestion button (find it directly below the Article Body box) to add links to related articles to your work.
For a demonstration on how to use the link suggestion tool, watch this video:
Today, we’re proud to present a powered-up Gameolosophy:
Gameolosophy is great source for information, tips, tricks and reviews on all kinds of games, whether played online, on a console, or on a personal computer.
In addition to better navigation and a new look, other Gameolosophy upgrades include new commenting and faster load times. If you’ve never written an article about gaming, take this opportunity to submit an article on your favorite game, whether it’s a nostalgic Atari game, or the latest multiplayer online role playing game. And if you’re a seasoned Gameolosophy contributor, take a moment to see how great your previously published articles look now.
Over the last few months, we’ve evaluated and upgraded the inner functions and outer looks of many of our network sites. One of the functions that we’re continually working on is commenting. It’s our goal to make leaving a comment easy, spam-free, and incredibly user-friendly.
What does this mean? If you’re already signed in to Triond and want to comment on an article, simply write and submit your comment. No CAPTCHA, no extra fields to fill in. Take a peek:
If you aren’t signed in, you’ll see a line that says “You are commenting as a guest. If you already have a Triond account, click here to login.” This link redirects you to Triond for a quick sign in, then we bring you back to the article to leave your comment.
We plan to make this feature available to all of our network sites in the near future.
Digitally remastered, engineered for your viewing pleasure, and now showing on your local computer: Cinemaroll!
We’ve brought Hollywood glamour to the site in our network that focuses on films and film making. Whether it’s a review of a small independent flick or a behind-the-scene look at the making of a mega blockbuster, Cinemaroll articles deliver action, adventure, and entertainment.

Wondering what topics are climbing the charts? Ready to write but just ran out of ideas?
Our latest new feature, popular topic suggestions, puts real-time trending topics in the palm of your hand. This feature lists major trending topics gathered from news sites, blogs, and web searches.
You can access the topic suggestion feature from its quick action link on the Dashboard or directly from the Submit tab. Click on any one of the listed topic titles and instantly see the most recent news stories, blog posts, and search results for the topic. Use it to discover new ideas, find out the hottest topics, or even break writer’s block.
On the heels of our two latest additions to the dashboard comes a third new feature – Top Search Phrases. This time, we’ve added a box displaying the top search phrases that bring readers to your content items.
We love data, and the Top Search Phrases box provides insightful data of all sorts:
See which search terms and keywords help readers discover your articles;
Take note of similar phrases to learn which one returns more unique viewers;
Cross analyze your most popular articles with the top search phrases to inform future writing;
Track how people find your work over time by looking for variations day to day and month to month.
Enjoy the new feature and as always, happy publishing!
